...for a time :) When your firsts player hit yellow, yes. But sooner or later, as soon as the 5 stars players reach the pink/red at least, they'll go garbage.

BTW I also use Luaice because of the disbalance between skills. +AR on hit and -ST by zone are a winning combo. And the skills on KO are crappy. Bye bye Jordell. But I don't think there are other cases than this one.

I use the 2 star elf wardancer because I think he is better than some of the 5 star guys right now. Also some other 3 star players are solid.

But yer it is worth noting that a buff to 'higher coloured players' is an implicit buff to lower star players also because lower star players are generally better coloured than 5 star players due to needing less tokens.

If truth be told, I don't think that they would be make them usefull.

But, aim for the stars, I always dream of some 15-stars-only league.
For that to work, low stars players should be quite balanced, otherwise they would be pick only to fill the roster (thus always Ritter Borgrut Gerhardt Zara Ivan) and again, choice would be an illusion.

But well, I think we're totally going out of topic here, but as opinions are always good to hear, I feel free to speak :)

Back on the topic now ; the more stats are up, the less skills are everything.
Skills vs team is wat would kill challenge and tactic. And choice. A game is nothing more than a succession of interresting choices.

Some interesting considerations of yours. However, I don't really share your intention of raising low star players' value so much. It is only natural that high star players are the ones of choice for advanced gameplay. Low star players should be useful for early and mid gameplay only, so their value should be raised somewhat (through my proposed method or another), but not as much as to make them equals for high star players.

I agree with your proposition. But I don't see the meaning of it, except that it give advantage to better-colored players on lower colored ; then :
- strong teams are even stronger,
- leveling teams may use their lower-star players.

I don't think that giving advantage to already best teams is the purpose ; but helping low-star players, that do I find great. But why only while leveling ('cause sooner or later they all will be yellow) ?

If the escalation with color is not wished by the team, but they care about low-star players, and they already plan to up some stats, I'd say, why not giving them a beter boost instead of just a boost ? ^^


Some theorycrafting (but a bit off-topic).
Currently, a star's value is two colors. You'll never have more than 4 different colors in your team by token's lack.
ie :
    White 5 stars = 1 color + (5 stars)*2 = 11 "player value"
    Purple 1 stars = 4 colors+ (1 star)*2 = 8 "player value"

Furthermore, skills effects on 4 & 5 stars are 150%, making them even better.
So, never, you would want to use a low star instead of a high star player, regardless of the skills.

I think that the dev have to do something for that low stars players, because that's unused content right now.
